EVALUATION UNIT OF QUALITY MONITORING OF EDUCATION OF THE AGENCY FOR SUPERVISION IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE UNDER THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

  Evaluation unit of quality monitoring of education  is in the structure of central office of the Agency for supervision in the field of education and science under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

  The unit interacts with the structural subdivisions of the central office and territorial structures of the Agency for supervision in the field of education and science, the executive body of state power and the relevant organizations of the Republic of Tajikistan in the prescribed manner.

  The tasks of the unit are as follows:

- control over execution of statutory and regulatory enactments, provision of the implementation of plan and program and concepts of state supervision and assessment of the quality of education, development and liaison of draft statutory and regulatory (appropriate) enactments of state supervision and assessment of the quality of education, consideration of letters and requests from legal entities, written and oral applications of citizens;

- drafting  of reports, Director’s reports of the Agency for supervision in the field of education and science under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and controversial issues on monitoring the level and quality of education at meetings of the advisory staff and other conventions and events;

- participation in the development and presentation of draft laws, statutory and regulatory enactments on the level and quality of education;

- development and submission of quarterly, semi-annual, three-quarter and annual working (current) plans for approval to the director of the agency in the prescribed manner;

- biennial  conducting all types of checks of the level and quality of education at all stages of educational institutions;

- monitoring the level and quality of education in the field of general, primary, secondary and higher vocational education;

- development of verification programs and methodological manuals for monitoring and assessing the quality of education;

- holding events of seminars, scientific and practical conferences, trainings on the problems of assessing the quality of education;

  The unit consists of a chief who carries out general management and control over the activities of the Unit, 2 senior specialists, 1 leading specialist and 1 specialist, they are appointed and discharged from the post by the director of the Agency for supervision in the field of education and science in accordance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On public service”, statutory and regulatory enactments in the field of public service, the Labor Code of the Republic of Tajikistan and other relevant statutory and regulatory enactments.
