President of Uzbekistan Receives the Ambassador of Tajikistan
Yesterday, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Ambassador of Tajikistan Sodik Imomi, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Tashkent.
During the conversation, Mirziyoyev especially emphasized the modern highest level of Uzbek-Tajik relations of friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership, achieved thanks to the political will and decisive steps of the leaders of the two countries.

Tajikistan’s Economic Development in 2021 Expected to Go Over 7%
Industry officials note that a significant decline in prices for the country’s export goods on world markets and the devaluation of the national currencies of our main trading partners had a consequential impact on Tajikistan’s economy.
However, an increase in production in industry and agriculture, and growth of foreign trade turnover, including in exports, has contributed to the development of our economy.
